Our Providers
The providers at Beacon Point consist of multiple agencies from around the State, each working together as a multidisciplinary team to treat the whole-person in a comprehensive and individualized manner.
The providers include:
The Recovery Response Team, which deploys a team to address opioid and other substance misuses in the community. The team has the ability to intervene with individuals in their own communities, identify immediate resources on the scene and relieve the need for any further intervention when possible by motivating and assisting the individuals to receive the most efficient and effective services to address their individual needs.
Lotus Marion Project
Lotus Marion is a dual-certified sexual assault and domestic violence center dedicated to supporting survivors and strengthening the community. Services include a 24-hour helpline, emergency shelter, non-residential advocacy programs, counseling, support groups, economic empowerment services, legal advocacy, Child Protective Investigative Team support, and community training. The Outreach Center, located at Beacon Point, is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary to access services, and walk-ins are always welcome. Advocates are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through the helpline at 352-633-5563.
Lifestream: Outpatient Behavioral Health and Substance Use Services
Access a variety of outpatient care options such as individual, group, and family counseling, as well as other innovative treatment modalities tailored to treat the individual and provide an exceptional treatment experience.
Heart of Florida: Care for the Whole Family
Heart of Florida Health Center offers Family Medicine services to treat a large variety of different health conditions, including the management of chronic diseases, illnesses, and childhood disorders. Heart of Florida provides care to people of all ages, including affordable pharmacy services.
SMA Healthcare at Beacon Point Location: 24-hour Inpatient Detoxification and Residential, Peer Support Services, Medication Assisted Treatment, Psychiatric Medication Management, and Community Access Center for Marion County
Providing intake, screening, assessment, and referral as well as Medication Assisted Treatment with Buprenorphine and Vivitrol, SMA at Beacon Point supports quick access and quality care for Marion County residents.
24-Hour substance abuse and recovery support services. With no wrong-door access to care, SMA at Beacon Point will not only accept walk-ins but provide on-the-scene assistance in the community, including transportation, detox & 28 day residential in order to support access to treatment services for Marion County residents.
WellFlorida Council
Providing Services for Substance Exposed Newborns. Nurse-Family Partnership works by having specially educated nurses regularly visit young, first-time moms-to-be, starting early in the pregnancy and continuing through the child’s second birthday.
