The Mobile Health Unit (MHU) brings health department services to your neighborhood, including WIC, family planning, immunizations, STI services, and health screenings. Services are free or low cost.

We offer Individual, Marriage, and Family (children and teens) Counseling Services. Our goal is to enhance lives by providing holistic counseling services to individuals, couples, marriages, and families. We combine professional expertise, evidence-based research, and the guiding principles of biblical wisdom while emphasizing empathetic pastoral care.

NAMI Marion County provides classes, support groups and advocacy to people and their families living with a mental health condition. We also implement NAMI on Campus Clubs at area high schools.

National Association Veterans & Families was conceptualized in 2008 after our founder experienced first hand how difficult it was to get benefit questions answered from the VA. He realized after the excessive and strenuous process of getting the Aid & Attendance benefit for his Aunt, that there are so many others that are also struggling to process a claim or just do not know about this benefit. Therefore, the National Association of Veterans and Families was established as a 501(c)3 to be the advocate for so many of our Forgotten Veterans who gave so much for our country. They have earned and deserve these benefits, and we are here to ensure they get the help they need all at no cost to the Veteran or their families.

The National Resource Directory (NRD) is a resource website that connects wounded warriors, Service Members, Veterans, their families, and caregivers to programs and services that support them. The NRD is hosted, managed, maintained, sustained and developed by the Defense Health Agency’s Recovery Coordination Program.

It provides access to services and resources at the national, state and local levels to support recovery, rehabilitation and community reintegration. The National Veterans Legal Services Program has worked since 1981 to ensure that the government delivers to our nation’s 18 million veterans and active duty personnel the benefits which they have earned because of disabilities resulting from their military service to our country at no cost to them.

The NHDC service area includes Alachua, Clay, and Marion Counties. We have assistance for Marion County Residents through our NHDC Cares Program for assistance for Rent, utilities, and wifi. Our agency also offers a Financial Fitness Program.
