Active Marion Project (AMP) is a project of the Marion County Hospital District focusing on workplace wellness and community health education. AMP acts as a challenge to Marion County residents to get moving towards a healthier lifestyle through fun step challenges, and workplace wellness initiatives, AMP aims to motivate the community to become healthier, together.

Community Health Education For Marion County

The Active Marion Project (AMP) is the healthy lifestyle program of the Marion County Hospital District. We offer workshops, classes, and resources to help people manage stress, thrive at work, and adopt healthy habits.

Through fun step challenges and workplace wellness initiatives, AMP motivates Marion County residents to embrace an active lifestyle. Our goal is for our entire community to get moving — and become healthier, together.

With a focus on fitness and nutrition in a fun and competitive environment, we are promoting a culture of health to residents of Marion County. This culture will ultimately help us prevent chronic, long-term illnesses such as obesity, diabetes, and prevent the progression of cancer and chronic diseases.
