Pace Center for Girls Marion, located in Ocala, Florida, is part of a network of 21 centers that have served more than 40,000 since 1985. Our academic classes are aligned with the local public school district, ensuring girls stay on track academically. Girls have the opportunity to catch up on credits if needed. Our Pace Day and Pace Reach programs are offered at no cost to families, and we offer year-round enrollment.

Practical Behavior Solutions, LLC offers clients and their families a team of dedicated professionals committed to improving the social and academic outcomes of children impacted by a variety of special needs. Our team believes in respecting and embracing the individuality and uniqueness of each person we encounter. The goal of our practice is to optimize the strengths of our clients while helping them overcome some of the challenges that inhibit them from achieving their goals and reaching their maximum potential.

We believe in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis as they relate to socially significant change. We believe this change involves collaborating with family and other critical people in the lives of our clients. We also believe in including the community at large with the goal of promoting an atmosphere of acceptance and inclusion. The team does not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to treatment. Our focus is the safety, independence, and overall well-being of our clients. We rely on research-based intervention strategies to guide our treatment plans. We rely on insights from the families of our clients, who will always know them best. We work to build meaningful relationships with our clients to ensure we are meeting their needs and respecting their interests. Our focus always has been and always will be our clients.

These are common concerns for many parents of struggling students. It’s a terrible, helpless feeling to watch your child flounder in school, falling farther and farther behind. You watch as other kids succeed, while your child is held back from achieving their true potential.

Regular classroom teachers are stretched thin. Most are not able to spend a lot of extra time working one-on-one with a child who is struggling. If they do have time, they likely don’t have the proper training to solve the problem and get your child back on track. If they have not already, your child’s teacher, counselor or principal likely will suggest you investigate learning disability testing or learning difference schools. A true transdisciplinary approach is proven to be the most effective method of treating learning disabilities. At The Morris Center, clients can receive interdisciplinary treatment to address multiple concerns in a synergistic way. Our clinic offers intensive interdisciplinary therapy to clients through a team approach. Our experienced professionals, each an expert in their field, work with clients to address the root causes of learning disabilities and to maximize treatment gains.

Transitions Life Center is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to provide a safe, caring and enriching community for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. At Transitions Life Center, we provide our members opportunities to strengthen their independence, build friendships, expand their world, and grow in faith.
