Marion Senior Services’ Home Delivered Meals provide a hot, noontime meal and short home visit, Monday through Friday.

This program provides:

Adults who are the caregiver for a spouse who no longer drives may also qualify to receive a meal.

Marion Transit Services provides public transportation, including services for the transportation disadvantaged, as well as for other sponsored and non-sponsored program recipients in Marion County on an advance reservation basis.

We enhance the quality of life for seniors through trusted, compassionate, and personalized care—wherever they call home. Our carefully selected caregivers serve Marion, Sumter, and Lake counties with flexible, reliable support and no contracts required.

Services Include:

•Personal Care & ADLs: Bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility support, medication reminders, toileting, and daily routines.

•Companionship: Meaningful conversation, social engagement, hobbies, outings, and appointment accompaniment.

•Homemaker Support: Light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, grocery shopping, and errands.

•Transportation: Safe, dependable transport to medical visits, therapy, shopping, and community activities.

•Respite Care: Temporary relief for family caregivers with flexible scheduling.

•Specialized Care: Alzheimer’s/dementia support, post-surgery/rehab assistance, and companionship in assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing facilities, or hospitals.

Founded in 2011, we are a family owned, faith-based company that helps clients find True Solutions to their senior living and care needs. Our services are No Cost to families because of our partnerships with vetted senior living communities and home care providers. We provide resources to our clients and strive to advocate for improved quality of senior care. Senior Provisions serves Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Florida.

Description: Marion Senior Services is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the independence and well-being of older adults and individuals with disabilities throughout Marion County. Established in the 1970s, the agency provides comprehensive in-home support, case management, caregiver assistance, and transportation services that help seniors remain independent and avoid institutional care.

As the designated Community Transportation Coordinator for Marion County, Marion Senior Services operates public paratransit and ADA-accessible transportation in partnership with the Florida Department of Transportation, the Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged, and SunTran.
