The VA North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System provides comprehensive, compassionate health care services to veterans, their families, and caregivers. VETERANS CRISIS LINE

The Veterans Crisis Line provides free, confidential, 24/7 crisis support to veterans, active-duty service members, National Guard/Reserve members, their families, and caregivers. You do not have to be enrolled in VA health care or benefits to use this service. Callers receive responses from qualified, caring professionals who listen and assist, free and confidential crisis intervention, and responders will help connect you to local resources and ongoing support services.

VFW VETERAN’S VILLAGE

Our guiding principle is to provide affordable, independent living accommodations to Veterans and their families that have defended our Country.
To qualify to live at the VFW Veterans Village one must be an honorably discharged veteran with a DD-214, spouse of a qualified veteran, men and women who qualify for membership in the VFW Auxiliary and widows of the Veterans are all welcome.

Volunteers of America of Florida

1. Supportive Services for Veteran Families provides temporary and supportive services for Veterans and Veteran families with low or no income. The goal of the program is to promote housing stability through assistance and support services to homeless persons or those at risk of homelessness. Services provided include: Housing Navigation: Housing search and identification to quickly move Veteran households into permanent housing. Temporary Financial Assistance, Case Management, Resource Connections, and Crisis Resolution.

2. Ocala Ritz Veterans Village provides clinical treatment, transitional housing, and individualized case management for Veterans experiencing homelessness in Marion County, Florida. The program is designed to help Veterans stabilize, rebuild their lives, and prepare for independent living through safe housing, structured support, and access to therapeutic services.

3. Volunteers of America of Florida Affordable Housing Apartments provide affordable housing to low-income families. Tenants are able to stay in the program indefinitely if eligible and needed.
