Heart of Florida Health Center

Marion County’s solution to providing healthcare for ALL

Heart of Florida Health Center has been dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality healthcare to our community for over a decade. Originally known as Community Health Services, we became a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in 2009, expanding to include dental and behavioral health services.

For more than 18 years, Munroe Regional Medical Center (MRMC) and Ocala Regional Medical Center (ORMC) generously provided financial support, ensuring healthcare access for many through CHS. In 2007, the Marion County Commissioners and the Florida Department of Health Marion County joined in funding our mission, allowing us to expand our services even further.

Today, we proudly care for over 110,000 patients each year, continuing to grow and serve as a cornerstone of community healthcare in Marion County.
