At Heart of Florida Health Center, our goal is to provide quality, patient-centered, professional oral health care to the culturally and economically diverse people of Marion county. Good oral and dental hygiene can help prevent bad breath, tooth decay and gum disease. Keeping your mouth healthy could lower your risk of serious health problems.

At Heart of Florida Health Center, we provide Prenatal Care, keeping the comfort of our maternity patients in mind. By partnering with the Midwives of Ocala who deliver locally at Advent Health Ocala, our patients have the benefit and convenience of receiving individualized care during their pregnancy and possible pregnancy complications. HFHC meets the needs of our moms whether insured, under insured, or uninsured; as well as offering a sliding fee discount program for those who qualify. We also offer group visits for mothers-to-be in visits called, “Centering Pregnancy.” HFHC is proud to be able to offer another convenient service for our patients…including our future ones!

The goal of Help Me Grow Florida is to promote healthy development for every child in our state. Help Me Grow (HMG) is a unique, comprehensive, and integrated statewide system designed to address the need for early identification of developmental and/or behavioral concerns, and then to link children and their families to community-based developmental and behavioral services and supports.

Helping Hands is a local nonprofit charity, helping people begin a new and better life. We primarily serve homeless, displaced, or abused people, mostly women and children throughout Ocala and Marion County. Helping Hands owns and operates two apartment buildings, containing 36 bedrooms (fully furnished). The apartments are in a safe place and provide a friendly and loving environment. We average 40 – 45 residents at any one time. We also operate two Thrift stores which help provide jobs and job training for our residents.

Our residential community is where recovery takes root and grows. With a strong emphasis on accountability, community support, and personal growth, we provide private and semi-private rooms to foster our guests commitment to sobriety and to build the skills for long-term success. Our dedicated team is here to guide and empower every step of the way as our guest embrace self-efficiency and create new chapter of life filled with hope, healing, and a brighter future.

His Compassion is an entirely non-profit food bank operated by unpaid board members, limited paid staff, and volunteers that are made up of nurses, politicians, businessmen, businesswomen, lay people, and clergy from a broad number of faiths.

Our mission is God’s mission. We are here to help and empower those in need right where they are. We partner with local churches, organizations, businesses, and individuals in order to accomplish Matthew 25.

His House for Her is a sober living community for adult women who need to recover from trauma and/or addiction. His House for Her offers affordable, safe sober housing, addiction recovery & mental health coaching, healing classes & groups, Christian counseling services, case management as needed, and connection to other services. We offer outreach classes and groups options.

The Home Free program reunites youth with their family or legal guardian or helps them get to an alternative living arrangement (ALA), such as a community-based transitional living program, through a free bus ticket.

This program provides:

– Transportation for runaway youth
– Help find housing

Youth must initiate the process by calling NRS’ hotline and speaking with NRS Crisis Services team about their situation. Youth will also be screened for signs of human trafficking.

At the request of a youth, NRS can help identify and access a local safe place, such as a police station, runaway and homeless youth service provider, shelter, other local youth service provider, or a hospital emergency room. Once they are in a safe place, the Home Free application process can begin.

Hope Clinic provides those in need with the healthcare they require, aides in navigating the healthcare system, and provides the necessary safety net to get them back on their feet.

Hope Clinic does this by providing timely and efficient access to free, compassionate, Patient-Centered Health care services, counseling, Wellness promotion, and disease-prevention education. Hope Clinic works in collaboration with many volunteers and healthcare professionals to provide healthcare, disease prevention, health education, access to medication (no class 3 narcotics), case management services, and specialty care coordination.

Social service agency, helping with food, clothing, diapers, pet food and most other needs. Referrals also done to other local agencies for housing and rent and electric. Open Mondays only 1-4pm.
